Does the motor work with the device without the additional hub?

EASY TO CONTROL: The DY001 motor supports direct connection of five devices of Alexa. (Echo 4th Gen, Echo Plus 2nd Gen, Echo Studio, Echo Show 10, Echo Show 2nd Gen). If the device does not fall into one of these five categories, you can select zigbee hub from our customization page, which can control up to 26 motorized blinds simultaneously. The hub supports linking with other models Alexa, Google Assistant, and a phone app for controlling motorized shades through timers and other scenes.
